Children will have the chance to look at a variety of animals at Dunstable library on Wednesday, October 29. The animal entertainment will host a workshop from 2.30pm till 3.30pm, and are available for children aged four to 12, tickets are £1.50.
The business has been hosting animal-handling workshops for more than 20 years.
The animals appearing at the library are white’s tree frog, tiger salamander, lesser Madagascan tenrec, Mexican redknee tarantula, French lop rabbit, bearded dragon, reticulated gargoyle gecko, chinchilla, stick insect and a royal python.
Councillor Ian Dalgarno said: “These fantastic events will allow children to handle creatures which you may normally only see in the zoo. And if you think that snakes are slippery then you’re in for a surprise.
“Hopefully families will jump at the chance to enjoy these great workshops, which are just one of many different events we are putting on over the half-term break.”
