October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, hundreds of ladies across the UK will be holding Pink Fridays to raise money for Breast Cancer Care.
Katie Green, 27, is holding a charity night with her mum , Shirley, and sister, Alice, they will be inviting their family and friends round for a girls night in.
She said: “I lost my nan to breast cancer in April, and I wanted to raise money for the charity and this seemed like a good way to do it, it is a great way to get everyone involved, raise money and have fun.
“We will invite the girls round, we will have bingo, a quiz, pin the bra, a raffle and an auction.”
Guests are encouraged to donate what they would normally spend on a night out, it will be held at her mum’s home in Hillyfields, Dunstable.
Ms Green added: “We have received a lot of contributions from local businesses for the raffle and auction, we are really grateful.
“We are still looking for more contributions for prizes, so we can raise as much money as possible.”
To contribute a prize to the raffle, email: smiler20022003@yahoo.co.uk
