Help is at hand on Saturday nights for people who find themselves in worrying situations while they are out and about in Dunstable.
The Dunstable Community Church Centre, at 69 High Street North,is acting as a “place of safety” from 10pm on Saturday nights to 4am on Sunday mornings.
The idea is that people can go there if they feel vulnerable and in need of help.
That includes people who have gone out with a group but have become separated from their friends and have lost their mobile phone.
