PUPILS at a Dunstable school really did get down to business at their annual Enterprise Day.
Weatherfield Academy pupils from Years 10 and 11 worked together in small teams.
They had to come up with a new, fictional company with a name and logo linked to the theme for the day.
Their main task was to design and develop ideas for a public park and playground to mark the Queen’s diamond jubilee.
Students produced a model of the main features and layout.
And they created a portfolio with information about safety aspects, and suggestions for features such as plants and furniture.
On hand to help were volunteers from business backgrounds.
The winning team, Elizabeth Diamond Park, included Nathan Milligan, Sarah-Jane Graham, Simon Connelly-Gibson, Samuel Hetherington and Samantha Innes.
