Former Chelsea and England striker Kerry Dixon will go on trial accused of possessing cocaine.
Mr Dixon, 53, of Jardine Way, Dunstable, pleaded not guilty on Thursday to having £100 to £150 worth of the Class A drug when he appeared at Luton magistrates’ court. He will be at Luton crown court next month for a preliminary hearing.
Kim White, 46, also of Jardine Way, Dunstable, admitted the charge and was fined £110 with £85 costs and a £20 victim surcharge. The court heard she was on benefits and suffering from depression.
