Sainsbury’s in Dunstable are regular supporters of the town’s Foodbank, donating goods like tinned fish and vegetables, sugar, Long Life milk and toiletries.
Tim Taylor, the store manager, and Elaine Wilson, PR ambassador, last week presented more items to Dunstable Foodbank resource coordinators Michelle Carter and Lisa Stanley.
Tim said: “The Foodbank do such an amazing job and we are excited to be able to support them. Unfortunately they are a much-needed charity in any community these days, and as a store we will do what we can to support our local Foodbank.”
Lisa said: “ We are so grateful for this donation, which will go towards helping many local families. We would like to thank Sainsbury’s for helping us to make a difference in the lives of our neighours.
Customers will find a Foodbank box at the front of the store for donations.
