A former BBC Radio One DJ will go on trial today accused of sexually assaulting 11 women.
Dave Lee Travis, of Mentmore, is charged with 13 counts of indecent assault and one of sexual assault relating to 11 alleged victims between 1976 and 2008.
The 68-year-old’s trial is expected to last up to six weeks at Southwark Crown Court in Central London.
Mr Travis pleaded not guilty to all charges on October 23.
He has previously said his “conscience is clear” and looks forward to clearing his name.
Mr Travis also used to work at Luton-based Three Counties Radio, and Chiltern Radio in Dunstable and did charity work in the town.
