A motorcyclist was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after a collision in Houghton Regis on Wednesday afternoon (December 2).
The man, in his 20s, was riding in Parkside Drive at about 5.25pm when he collided with a Volkswagen Polo.
The East of England Ambulance Service d dispatched a an ambulance, a rapid response vehicle and a paramedic officer.
The East Anglian Air Ambulance helicopter arrived at the scene shortly after and airlifted the man to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge.
He suffered serious injuries to his pelvis and legs and is currently receiving treatment.
Both vehicles were recovered by police, with the Volkswagen recovered minutes away from the scene.
Parkside Drive was closed near Elm Park by police.
A collision investigation is underway and police are appealing for witnesses.
