A Dunstable-based accountancy firm has launched a pension scheme for other small businesses.

Under new rules being gradually introduced even small employers will have to have a pension scheme for their staff.

Now Dave Masterson, who runs the TaxAssist franchise in Dunstable and Leighton Buzzard, is launching a scheme designed specifically for small businesses.

Mr Masterson, whose Dunstable shop is in High Street North, said; “For small businesses the law is being phased in over the next few years, but we’ve had a lot of small business owners coming to us with concerns over the impact this legislation will have and looking to establish their own pension plan.”

The business has teamed up with Independent Financial Services (UK) Ltd and Scottish Widows, to put together a scheme for small businesses.
